  1. This book had some strong points and some low point, except I think that the lower points overpowered the stronger ones. This book, I felt was chaotic and confusing. A Newbery series book should be able to stand alone, but this book did not meet that qualification. I have read the other books in this series before, and I still thought that book was complicated. The earlier books in the series were better.

  2. The book overall had a good plot, but the characters and the background details that were missing made this book hard to get into. I don’t think this book is newbery, although it did make me want to read the previous books of the series.
