  1. This book was interesting. It’s about a boy who works in the glassworks of Italy and meets children who have a special connection to birds. I liked the book, but I found it strange that pretty much the whole book was about how the main character is trying to protect his family and at the end he just leaves. I think the end could have been presented better. I personally wouldn’t say that this book is our winner.
