  1. The characters in this book were well developed, in my opinion, and I felt like I knew Leo pretty well. He has some anxiety about using the time machine and changing the past. The plot was interesting, and I liked the whole idea. The setting as well described, and it left you wanting to know even more about it. This book is the second in a series, but I would never have known that unless it had said so on the front cover. This book definitely stands alone. I think it has a chance of winning the Mock Newbery Award.

  2. One of the most surprising things about this book, was that it was in a series. It was so well written, you would have never guessed it had a book before. The characters were, as Olivia said, well developed.I think it has a chance for a Newbery.
