  1. What I most enjoyed about this book was the writing style. The language of the book kept you in 1811, fighting off pirates and bellowing songs. Also, the characters were nicely formed and developing throughout the story. However, the plot is a bit old and well worn. The setting wasn’t described too much… Right now I am undecided whether to say yes or no, so I’ll put off my decision.
