  1. I thought this book was a fun read. The writing style is the best part. The plot is fairly predictable and this story has been done and re-done multiple times. However, the writing was very clever. There was a lot of sarcasm in the writing. There were several parts I laughed out loud. I enjoyed reading it, and would definitely recommend it to girls who like twisted fairy tales. I don’t feel like it is Newbery materials, however. What do you think?

  2. I thought this book was funny, I enjoyed the author’s humor. I thought the end was interesting. I agree with Ms. Lindsey, this book may not be Newbery material. I did enjoy it, though, and I would recommend it to some of my friends.
