  1. At first I was hesitant to read this book because of it’s title. A little morbid, I may say, but overall a interesting book. The characters were definitely the best part. It was easy to go along with, and while it might be a good read, there’s nothing too distinguished about this book.

  2. At the beginning of this book there were a few baseball terms that I didn’t understand, but as the book went on the terms they used were explained. The characters were probably the best part of the book. They were pretty well described and I knew why they did the things they did. I liked this book and I would recommend it to people who like baseball, but I don’t think it will win the Mock Newbery.
