  1. I really didn’t get the point of the book. I know it’s mostly for girls but I still don’t quite see how this is a Newbery book, even in a girl’s point of view. Not very interesting engaging… so I’ll vote it a no.

  2. I did not like this book. I did not connect to the main character at all. There was no character developement until near the last pages of the book. The main character seemed so much like a spoiled brat that i had a hard time connecting with her. The plot was not very interesting. This is not the newbery.
