  1. A nice story book, filled with Japanese fairy tales. I’m sure that this is for younger grades, probably grades 4-6 or so. It had a slow start but eventually in the book I latched the plot. Yet overall I have to say that this isn’t what I would choose for Newbery.

  2. I agree with Benjamin that this is not what i would pick for the newbery but i did like the book. The Japanese Fairy Tales were my favoite part. I also liked how all the stories fit together. The ending was good too.
