  1. I thought it was an interesting read. You know how you sometimes have a day when you know nothing about something, and then it shows up twice in one day? Well, I had just read an article about supertasters before reading this book. I liked Safer’s personality, but I thought that he was a little mean to Georges, not telling him the truth and all.

I don’t think it is Newbery material, though.

  2. I do think it is an interesting read but I will not pick it for Newbery. The plot was definitely the best part because I was completely surprised that the whole mystery about the guy thing was fake but I admit I have read lots of better books this year so I give it a no.

  3. I like the writing style in this book, the way that the author made it seem like you knew something but it turns out you don’t. It keeps the book intersting. It is not my favorite book so far, but it is exciting and a fun read. I would reccomend it to 4th- 6th graders.
