  1. I like the plot, characters, and the setting, but I’ve read better. No for Newbery.

  2. This book was not one of the most interesting books i have read this year. Many of the parts were boring and the book read like a nonfiction book. The part that should have made it more interesting was Sophia “falling in love” with the person she should have been spying on, but it wasn’t, because he was a lot older than she was. I know that back then it was normal for them to have a big age difference, but i still had a hard time connecting with it. This is not my pick for the newbery book.
