  1. I think that this is the best plot I have read. It’s a mixture of all the fairy tales combined, twisted so that they all belong in one ‘world’. It has an original plot and at the end, there is a turn of events, their grandmother is the fairy godmother! I definitely think that this could win the Newbery.

  2. This type of book is one of my favorites. I love rewritten fairy tales and the way this story is told it is literally magical. I love the plot, characters, setting, and the way the writer told the story. The book combines many of my favorite ideas and genres in one. I would recommend this book for middle school age kids and I think this book could win the Newbery.

  3. I also really enjoy this type of book. I think that it is such a unique idea to put all the fairy tails together in one land. The setting was described wonderfully and so that you could understand how everything was placed. It seemed like you were really there. Although this is not my favorite book this year, it is a very intersting one.
