  1. This book was boring in the first 30 pages or so, and it lacked a hook. Though it did get more interesting as it moved on. The text layout was a little weird, it had person to person interviews every couple pages. I think with a little work it could become a Newbery, but with the current edition, I don’t think it could win the award.

  2. I thought that this book was an epic flop. To me, this book was very predictable. I thought that the only really entertaining part was Corey’s demise. Not Newbery material.
