This is an odd book, nothing too original though, I mean, in a lot of books, teachers are turning into monsters. Well anyway, the plot was basic, basically one straight line so I could predict the end so it was nothing special. Character development? Pfft, you just learn more about the character, they don’t actually change. Setting? Nothing exceptional. So I don’t think it is Newbery worthy.
