This is not the best I have read. I wish I could say it was a fun read though, but I can’t. It was all confusing, from beginning to end. I didn’t quite understand the characters family members. I figured out one was a baby but one of them I couldn’t tell if he was a toddler, teen, or anything… So I don’t think this could win the Newbery.
