i really really want to read this!
This book was amazing, once i got into the story, I couldn’t put the book down. I was so interested in how Claire was finding her son, it took a while to get to the suspense, but it was worth the wait!
I felt like this book had the Newberry feel to it. The characters were so well developed and the story was very unique. I haven’t read the Messenger but i still felt like I got the complete story. I agree that the suspense as a little late but when you got the suspense it didn’t really matter how long you had to wait!
This book is definitely the newbery!!!!!!!!!! it is such a great book. it stands on its own despite the fact it is there is three books that come before it. I read The Giver and Gathering Blue but not The Messenger and i still understood everything. The character developement and plot are both amazing!!!!!!!! There is also a good ending. I agree that it is worth the wait for the suspense. This book has great feeling in it. i was so sad when Claire lost her memory and when she lost her youth. This is now my top pick.
