I have to say that I thought this book was a bit boring and I never really connected to the characters. The plot was okay, adding a nice twist in the end, but that’s all I liked about it. It was something about the writing style that I didn’t appreciate. So I think it shouldn’t get a Newbery Honor/Medal.
I was expecting a plot twist at the end, but got the same thing I had been thinking the whole time. Enjoyable, but not a winner.
