The main problem came close to the end. It also had a small cliffhanger. I don’t think it should win the newbery.
I agree, It seemed almost like half the book was forgotten. I liked the book, but i was a little dissapointed. i was excpecting it to be completely one of the best books ever, because Kathryn Lasky is my favorite author.
I really loved this book, until the end. The characters were interesting and complex. The writing was distingushed. I don’t think this book should be considered for the award because it had a major cliffhanger.
