It had great detail and some smaller plot twists. Some of the characters were well developed. the plot was not the most original but I still found it an enjoyable read.
It wasn’t very interesting. Maybe it would be better for younger kids. I don’t think it should win the newbery.
It was a cute quick read. The characters were nice but it is your classic kid wants a dog book. I don’t think that it would win Newbery.
