This. Book. Is. AMAZING! I am so glad it was ok’ed for Newbery. With its very real characters mixed with harsh reality and a touch of fantasy, the plot keeps you hooked and occasionally plays tricks on your mind. I will vote for this book all the way; it has well earned my praise.
